    Hey there,

I’ve configured my login page such that [wppb-login redirect_url=”https://savetheyoungheart.com/profile/”%5D (login is redirected to the profile page after logging in successfully)

For some reason, even if the user doesn’t log in successfully it redirects them to this page.ie, the profile page.

A few months back it used to show an error message, now it redirects regardless.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @sohamagarwal00,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

??*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns. Also, disable all the caching plugins in case you are using some on your website.

Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

    Kind regards,

    Hey,

Profile builder’s addons have been integrated into the main plugin as far as I remember. I would love to run the conflict test, however, the troubleshooting tool may not be of use(because I’m already logged in and the issue is on login page).

The other option is to conflict test with the main website directly, is that the only way?

It was working perfect a month or so ago so i was wondering if this is a recurring issue for other users.

    Thanking you,
    Soham

    Hello @sohamagarwal00,

    Thank you for the follow-up!

I was referring to other Add-ons, not Profile Builder’s add-ons. maybe you have a few plugins that are using extra add-ons as well.

My suggestion would be to disable everything except for the Profile Builder and to test the login from a Private Browser page. In this way, you will be able to be logged in as an admin from the browser and to test the login at the same time from the private window (you can test it with any other account).

Regarding the issue itself, no, this is the only case that we have seen until now. (this is why my first thought was a conflict issue)

(please disable any caching you are using on your website, as it might cause this issue as well)

    Kind regards,
