Regarding the error, this doesn’t seem to be on the front-end, and is probably a false positive. It will most likely disappear on it’s own.

On your site I see the G-tracking code added twice. Once where a GTM code should be entered.

One is in your header, and the latter is added by Complianz as a GTM code, but the tracking code is G-*, so Google Analytics 4.

You have two options;

1. Remove the code in the header and change Google Tag Manager to Google Analytics in the Complianz wizard, under Statistics.
2. Or, under Statistics answer, Yes, and the personal data is available to us and change your header code with some additional classes: https://complianz.io/adding-global-site-tag-gtag-js-with-granular-consent/

It seems like GTM does fire correctly after consent. Analytics not properly tracking could be related to your GTM container not being published, or incorrectly setup to fire Analytics.

In your GTM container, you can create a trigger that fires analytics based on an event (such as “Accept” in the Cookie Banner). We have written an article on how to set up Tag Manager events, which might help: https://complianz.io/definitive-guide-to-tag-manager-and-complianz/

When a visitor withdraws their consent, already set cookies are no longer useful, but cannot be removed on third-party domains. Within the ePrivacy Directive context, a website is not obliged to remove the placed cookies. Removing cookies from your visitor’s browser could be regarded as invasive. Refer to https://complianz.io/withdrawing-consent/ for details.

However, if you want to clear all cookies (except known admin cookies) on revoke, you can use this MU-plugin to do so:
cmplz_clear_cookies_on_revoke.

Right-click & save the link I sent in the previous post, and place the PHP file in the folder “/wp-content/mu-plugins”. If the MU-plugins folder does not exist yet, you can create it.

When you revoke the cookies, already set cookies are no longer useful. The provided extension to remove cookies set on your domain is therefore not necessary to implement.
