TablePress is not updating

    I show the data is transmitting from the file manager in our cpanel, into the TablePress as a .csv through the url we have set up. And it is set for every 15 min but it doesn’t seem to be updating. The new info show in the database, it shows in the csv, but it not showing on TablePress why? Maybe it longer than 15 min IDK, but as I type this it still hasn’t shown up.

    Ok it updated after 45 mins, is there anyway to change that because it was submitted at 2021-04-25 17:43:04, so technically 3, 15 min windows took place before it updated. I have my server dumping it into the server every 5 minutes!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    This sounds as if you are using the TablePress Auto Import Extension? Keep in mind that this will not pick up changes to the CSV file immediately, but it will only re-import the CSV file periodically (every 15 minutes) – and that only, if there were visitors on the site that trigger this import via the WordPress Cron system.

    To hopefully make this more reliable on your site, you could try replacing that WordPress Cron mechanism with a real server-side cron job. Whether this is possible on your site depends on the web hosting contract that you have. How this is set up also depends on your web host, but common instructions like https://docs.wpwebelite.com/replace-wordPress-cron-with-a-real-cron-job/ should maybe work, as you mention that you are using cPanel.

    We took your advice, but it doesn’t seem to have solve the issue. The table still isn’t updating, and I even tried to update it manually through URL and it wouldn’t update the file that either. Keep in mind the database shows the information is in there and the csv that I tried to manually import also has the information in there. Yet in still it will not go into TablePress.
