apa_set_session_values function takes more than 100 seconds

    Hi, we are using your plugin in a clients website but we have found that the function apa_set_session_values is taking about 100 sec to complete. Taking our resources and timeouts down.

    Any ideas on why this could be happening? Or what would be causing this resources consuming coming from this function?

    Hi @danidub,

    This function is not complicated and never should take so long to complete as it only takes $_SESSION values.

    How did you check this so that we can test it on our staging servers?

    We check the response time through New Relic, a metric tool for resources.

    I have found that we are using Geolocation IP Detection 3.3.0 and Lead info with country for Contact Form 7 2.0

    Maybe those versions are the responsible for this resource consumption. A solution could be to update them both and re-test. What do you think?

    Hi @danidub,

    Just tested with New Relic and we don’t get so long times to complete apa_set_session_values.

    First thing I would try is to deactivate Geolocation IP Detection and see what response time you get without it. If you use an external service to resolve the IP the query can take very long.
