woocommerce checkout shortcode not working

    The [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode is on checkout page in box and appears correct. It is set to public. I have deactivated all other plugins. Status says “page not set”. In settings>advanced>page setup>checkout…… there is no option in the pull down to set it to checkout. I’ve followed every suggestion provided over the past 5 days and nothing has changed. I’ve read other post in these forums and followed those directions and it’s still not working.

    Hi there,

    If you head to WooCommerce>Status> Tools, and click “Create default WooCommerce pages”, does the page work correctly?

    No. That did not work, however, I have since fixed the issue. Apparently, any woocommerce page can be a childs page and still function correctly EXCEPT checkout. I had it set as a childs page to cart but that cannot be on woocommerce.
