500 Internal Server Error While Installing

  • When attempting to install, I can reach wp-admin/install.php without any troubles – insert my blog name and email address as directed. After clicking install, the page will show up with the Word Press logo, but nothing else (where the db info should be input next).

    Deleted the db and re-uploaded the install.php page but the same thing happened again.

    Might it be timing out? The first time I tried this, it showed an Internal Server error, but it’s not showing that the second time.

    Any suggestions?
