GTMetrix > Waterfall > 33 CSS files

    GTMetrix > Waterfall > shows 33 CSS files.
    Shouldn’t these be combined? My settings seem to be correct, not sure what I may be missing.
    Wish Google emphasizing page speed, this has become very important ??
    Please suggest how to fix this.

    If you look carefully at the settings on the screenshot, you have combine css disabled.

    Merging is no longer recommended for http2 servers, so it doesn’t matter that there are 33 css files. They all load in parallel if your server supports http2.

    If not, you can enable merging.

    I suggest emptying all fields and setup the plugin again by looking at the recommended settings from the HELP tab. A lot of those settings have changed after WP 5.7.
