Permalinks & Slug adding -2

  • After importing my posts I am getting my permalinks and slugs looking like this:

    post-name-2

    instead of:

    post-name

    Is there a way to automatically remove the ‘-2’ from all permalinks?

    Also, is there a way to automatically remove filler words like ‘the’ ‘of’, ect from permalinks?
