Sorry to hear you are having this issue.
Can you please install the HTTP log plugin:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/log-http-requests/
Submit a new payment that will fail again, once done, go to the HTTP log plugin page and check for any non-200 request, it should show why the payment failed.
Once finding the non-200 status, please disable the HTTP plugin.
