Attention Elementor users
-
For those of us who use this plugin with Elementor, you’re aware it covers the editor layer and so generally you want to design the widget and drop it in at the very end.
However, up until Elementor 3.2.1 you could still actively edit your page/template/whatever in Elementor with wp-dtree present. That is no longer the case – if you have this widget present in the Elementor editor, no changes to your page/template will display. You must remove the wp-dtree widget in order to continue editing. So you now must truly drop this widget in, as the very last step of building your layout.
Ideally it would be great if the plugin played nicely with Elementor’s editor and didn’t take over the browser, because there are so few actual *good* category plugins in existence.
So this is just a heads-up to users of both plugins.
