    My checkout page is not set as a childs page to the cart page but if you click on it from anywhere in wp it goes to my cart page. I have had multiple problems with this page and have fixed them, but a day or 2 later another issue arrives. Ive checked settings and status and everything looks right, until you try to go to the page itself.

    Hi, @agogblog1!

    I’m unable to check your checkout page as it’s showing me a maintenance page. However, there are a couple things we can immediately look at.

    Ive checked settings and status and everything looks right, until you try to go to the page itself.

    To be sure, have you checked which page is set as the “Checkout” page under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced?

    Also, do you maybe have any redirection plugins?

    Thank you for your response. Yes. It is set to checkout in advanced settings. Even the slug says “checkout” but still directs to cart page. https://artagog.com/checkout/ I’m at a total loss. I have no redirect plugins. I have deactivated and reactivated the plugins 1 by 1 and still cant fix the problem. I deleted all unused themes, rearranged the menu…. Still redirects. I tried contacting the Happiness Engineers that woocommerce employs, but unless you have a paid subscription they offer little help. They say “go to the forums and ask for help because it benefits everyone with this issue…” I’ve been stuck in this situation for 3 weeks now and can’t proceed with my build or going live until I have a solution and you’re the only response so far. Which I truly appreciate.

    I’m sorry to hear you’re still having issues with your site’s checkout page.

    Without seeing the actual checkout page since there’s a maintenance screen, I don’t have much information to go by either.

    However, you did mention the following:

    I have no redirect plugins. I have deactivated and reactivated the plugins 1 by 1 and still cant fix the problem.

    Can you please clarify, have you already tried deactivating all plugins altogether except WooCommerce?

    If not, for testing conflicts, I usually recommend the Health Check plugin. It has a troubleshooting mode where only you as the admin will see any changes made to the site.

    Using that, the general troubleshooting steps would be:

    1. Enable troubleshooting mode on the plugin which will deactivate all plugins and switch the site’s theme to a default one like Storefront
    2. Activate WooCommerce
    3. Attempt checkout to see if you’re still redirected

    If the problem is gone, then activate plugins one at a time. In between each activation, repeat step 3. That usually helps narrow down issues.
