    Hello,

First of all, let me say I’m very happy with the Advertising Manager plugin and its features.

However, since I started using it, I have noticed a rogue Adsense publisher ID appearing my website stats when a visitor clicks on an ad on my site. Not all the time, but often enough that it’s a problem.

It may be a coincidence, but I’m wondering if anyone has experienced a similar hack, perhaps via the script in this plugin?

I’m not suggesting the creator of the plugin is involved in any way. I’m just trying to figure out how this could be happening.

I’ve checked my site code and all is as it should be, my Adsense code and pub ID are where they should be.

Yet, my site visitors are apparently exiting via clicks to ads that are being substituted for my own.

    Any ideas?

I just deactivated Advertising Manager and my site has literally vanished.

Corrected fatal errors and site is working again.

No more rogue Adsense publisher ID appearing since removing the Advertising Manager plugin. Keeping my fingers crossed it won’t happen again.

Based on the exit links, it turns out my ad slots were being rotated with another person’s ad slot number and publisher ID.

Is this built-in to the plugin? I don’t recall reading anything about this in the doc or the settings.

If not, perhaps there’s some kind of vulnerability in the script that makes it prone to hacking.
