Extended Digital variation

    Dear community,

    I am using WooCommerce to sell digital video files.
    On one product, I am selling a series of files with the variations of:
    1- codec (3 variations)
    2- resolution (2 variations)

    So overall 6.

    I am interested in adding another variation, that will be a yes/no choice. Choosing yes, will add one more file to the download list.

    Is that possible to do without adding 6 more variations-combinations? (but instead just one additional?)

    I do not think that would be possible. 6 additional variations would be the minimum to handle this scenario.

    Is there any particular reason for not adding 6 more variations?

    Hey Nicola,

    Thank you for the quick answer.

    No particular reason, I just wondered if there is an easy trick to make that happen.
    (each variation has about 13 download links so I was looking for a way to avoid adding ~ 80 links haha)

    I understand. No, I do not think there’s an easy trick without using additional plugins.

    Even with plugins, I think it would still be easier to just add a few more variations instead of coming up with a system to handle it differently.

    If we are talking about many more variations then I’d recommend you start looking for an alternative, but for these numbers, this is probably the easiest way.
