Product Sync faulty

Hi there,

Can I clarify the issue to make sure I can point you in the right direction to get this resolved.

From the sounds of it, the products are syncing from your WooCommerce site to Facebook but when trying to link to specific products in Facebook or Instagram, they’re not showing as available.

Is that correct?

If all of the products are syncing from your WooCommerce site to Facebook, then Facebook will be able to look into why some are unavailable to link to on Facebook or on Instagram. You can contact them for specific support related to the WooCommerce extension on the below link:

https://business.facebook.com/fbe/support

If not all of the products are syncing from WooCommerce to Facebook then the next step will be to try increasing your site’s PHP time limit as it is possible the sync may have timed out.

We have both problems you described.

We asked Facebook for the products that appear in the facebook-catalog but can’t be tagged. We′ll keep you updated.

Still there are at least three products that don’t appear in the Facebook-catalog. We only know about these three because we couldn’t tag them, maybe there are more products missing we didn’t try to tag at this point.
Anyway… we searched for the max_execution_time which is set to 120.
Our Webhoster said the standard would be 30, he wouldn’t recommend to set it higher.
Can you give us further help for these three missing products?

I followed your link and checked all of the mentioned points, which are:
– we don’t have two catalogs (only one)
– the product is in stock
– the product is not virtual
– the product shows “sync and show” in the product overview

Can you please enable logging under Marketing > Facebook :

And then try to sync the product which aren’t appearing in Facebook.

Please then navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and find the Facebook logs from the dropdown on the right side, which will have just been generated during the sync.

Can you then please reply with the logs, removing any sensitive or private information.

This may help us identify the specific errors related to these products.

oh my bad.

I think I found the correct log, which is quit big: To find and delete personal data I copied the log to word and it seems to have 1500 sites.

1. Is this possible, do I have the right log?
2. There is endless personal data in this log, can I send it to someone private?

It’s possible for the log to be quite large. We can’t confirm whether you have the right log without looking at it though.

To help: the three missing products, we know about, are named “Superdry Sandalen” and have the IDs 28866, 28857 and 28849.

You mention all products have the same name – are they variations of the same product?

In WooCommerce, do you see the variant IDs listed, like this: https://d.pr/i/CkjNxv

Is the ‘Facebook ID’ listed there?

Do you have other variable products in your store, and were these synced correctly to Facebook?

these products have the same name, but aren’t variations of the same product.
These bathing shoes are the same article but in three different colours; each colour is one product.
Per colour we have three sizes. So we are talking about one article, three colours/products and in total 9 variations.

Is the ‘Facebook ID’ listed there?

Yes, it is for all three products.
