Issue with Using Yoast SEO and Classic Editor

    For the past few weeks I have been trying to figure out why the metabox is not showing up on pages and posts. See this thread link below.

    (FYI, it is not resolved, the problem wasn’t being solved so I’m just waiting for Yoast to update their plugin)

    After doing some digging, others are having the same issue, and I keep trying to use the same steps that Yoast is suggesting. Something NEW discovered today… when I deactivate all plugins and go to the twenty-twenty one theme, THEN activate just Yoast SEO, I receive this message..

    There is a bug, but I don’t know how to resolve it after switching to mulitple different cache plugins and deactivating plugins.

    I’ll be honest, I’m considering switching to another SEO plugin…. sorry.

    @lastrowmusic We received similar reports from other users and noticed that the only thing in common is that all websites are running the Imperva CDN. You can see here in a check utility that your site is using the Imperva CDN.

    Therefore, our recommendation would be to clear the Imperva CDN cache and check if the problem resolves. If the problem persists after clearing the cache, we’d kindly ask you to contact Imperva support. They should be able to investigate if there’s any CDN setting that may be cutting off the output of the Yoast JavaScript file.

    Thanks for your reply. I am switching CDNs to Cloudflare and will see if the issue still happens.

    The bug causing the metabox to NOT display have been resolved with this latest update (May 2021).

    Carry On, Yoasters! ??
