Reward Video Ads

  • Hi All,

    I am just wondering if there is a way to have a video advertisement show before a download is given, kind of like a reward video. At the moment I have downloads hidden behind user authentication, but think it would be good to allow anyone to download as long as they watch a video first.
    I have been trying to Google something but not getting any concrete answers, there was one plugin by AppLixir that looked like it would be exactly what I needed, but it seems like that has been abandoned and the developers not responding to messages from users.

  • You might just try that plugin because it might work, you might be able to make it work, You might find a dev to fix it or make it work, else you might learn something useful from the experience.

    Since it seems to be no longer supported you might want to be a little cautious about making it public (in-service on your website) though.

    Thanks, I may give it a go. I didn’t want to waste time on it if there was a plugin that others used that they know worked ??

    I am hoping that my Googling was just no up to it’s usual best and I am just missing it ????
