How to display recent posts with images

It looks like this plugin is for displaying recent posts in the sidebar. I’m trying to display recent posts in the center of my homepage. Thanks!

You can display a widget anywhere, you just need to register the region with your theme:

However, default or configurable behaviour should display your featured image on recent blog posts.
