I installed this product but really got out of my comfort zone when it was “investigating” my bought and paid-for apps from Envato. Why is WordPress rolling out this plug-in that asks all sorts of questions about you and your website but I don’t know diddly squat about them. Are they a registered company? Do they share or sell my information to 3rd parties? what accreditations do they have to be allowed to ask us such personal information? why do they want to meddle with plug-ins you paid handsome amounts for jeopardizing your whole theme. Also, why do they offer a premium account when all the questions I laid out unanswered about who they are and who endorsed them.

Hi @smartdeals4you , I see you tagged this project as a scam. really? For more than 250.000 websites Complianz is clearly not a scam but a smart deal. However, that might not be the case 4 you. If you are not sure why and how you should use a privacy plugin such as Complianz, then maybe this is not the right product for you or your website.
All the questions you ask here can be answered by looking at the public description of the plugin here at WordPress, or by going to the complianz.io website.
Yes, complianz is a registered company.
No, we do not share or sell your data.
Simply because we do not receive personal information or data from the wizard. Complianz is not a saas application and also does not “call home”. That data always stays on your own server.

Wow, I loved your mock-up of one of my websites in your sarcastic reply. You curveballed my main concern which is why so many “need to knows” about my other plugins? Why does it want access to them and for what purpose? I did not shell out a lot of money for plugins to be meddled with by third parties then have to explain off to its creator how that came about. But given your rottweiler with toothache response when sadly some rogue plug-ins do slip through the radar, you’re absolutely spot on, it’s not the product for me.
