    I have a site hosted on Siteground and after migration from WP engine to Siteground, i am facing 500 internal errors in Admin dashboard. I tried to figure this out a lot but i didnot get any information why this errors is happening and there is also no support from Siteground’s support team. To check this issue, i have enabled debug log and found this error.

    [24-May-2021 18:50:16 UTC] WordPress database error Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction for query UPDATE wp_9_actionscheduler_actions SET attempts = attempts+1, status='in-progress', last_attempt_gmt = '2021-05-24 18:50:16', last_attempt_local = '2021-05-24 11:50:16' WHERE action_id = 138322 made by do_action('wp_ajax_nopriv_as_async_request_queue_runner'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, WP_Async_Request->maybe_handle, ActionScheduler_AsyncRequest_QueueRunner->handle, do_action('action_scheduler_run_queue'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, ActionScheduler_QueueRunner->run, ActionScheduler_QueueRunner->do_batch, ActionScheduler_Abstract_QueueRunner->process_action, ActionScheduler_DBStore->log_execution

    Earlier I have created following ticket support post https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wordpress-database-error-deadlock-found-when-trying-to-get-lock-try-restarting-2 and i fot a response that i should post it in WooCOmmerce support.

    can somebody, please check and let me know, what is this issue and how can i fix it.

    Thank you

    Hi @sajiddesigner,

    Apologies for the late response.

    Your best bet would be to disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and check to see if there are any conflicts. If so, go ahead and slowly re-enable plugins until you find out which one is causing trouble. You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts in the documentation here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/

    You’d also want to check if stopping Action Scheduler from running will prevent those 500 internal errors. For that you can download, install, and activate the Action Scheduler Disable Default Runner plugin.

    Cheers.

    Hi there,

    Just a heads up, we’ve not heard back from you in a while so I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. Hopefully, you were able to come up with a solution.

    If you have other WooCommerce Core plugin issues, please feel free to create a new thread on the forum.

    Thanks.
