I’ve jumped onto this bandwagon too

  • Like many others, WP User Avatars pulled a big “WTF?!” stunt. (I thought my sites got hacked when a bunch of “membership, user registration, user profile” junk showed up)

    Anyway, I quickly installed this super easy, no-frills, does-what-it-says-and-nothing-else plugin and wondering why I didn’t find it earlier. I’ve got 17 more sites to swap out ??

    @blakemiller thanks for the kind words and review, please let us know if you run into any questions or issues in using Simple Local Avatars, but otherwise glad to hear its working out well so far!

    A question for those who have switched after the WP User Avatar fiasco: Did you have to recreate all of the user avatars that were already in place with WP User Avatar? I have several membership sites each with several hundred users so manually recreating the avatars would be difficult.
