Tooltip 5.10.0 behaviour changes

    (On the example page, the lines with the link “chords” are the tooltip hotspots.)

    1. my inline css styles for the tooltip fonts don’t seem to be working anymore.

    2. if I put 2 br tags in a row, the tooltip breaks the remaining tooltip content out into the page. I need to be able to put in line breaks to separate the tooltip content. I find that if the 2 br are separated with non-breaking space it will work however.

    I prefer the behaviour of previous versions as it was working perfectly for me.

  • I am having similar issues with my CSS for tooltips. The CSS I was using to highlight the tool tip phrase no longer works. I also liked the previous version of Shortcodes. They worked fine for my needs.

    I reverted to the previous version.

    The main problem with 5.10 is the font size increased too much, and the thing about the br tags.

    The “behaviour” tag is not working at all for me anymore. I’ve had it working with the “hover” behavior for months, but after updating all tooltips are open as soon as the page loads. Changing it to “click” doesn’t change anything. Won’t be updating the plugin until this is fixed.
