    Hey,

is it possible to limit the amount of time between 2 orders from the same customer (both guest & logged in checkouts) for all orders?

For example, I would like to allow only one order every 5 minutes from the same customer in order to prevent duplicate orders.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Yes this is possible. Here are the options that you need to set:

Under General tab > General Options

    1. Mode > Product Quantities
    2. Date range > Custom > Minutes (For custom date range units) > 5 (For custom date range)

Then go to the Limits tab and set the Limits per user as 1.

This way a customer can only place 1 order every 5 minutes.

    Hi,

Actually in step 1, it should be “Mode > Product orders” if you want to restrict the number of orders for a time period.

Mode > Product Quantities will restrict the number of units per product.
