• Hello,

When we published this post we noticed that it displays a weird character (question mark) for apostrophe. We don’t think it’s an encoding problem because it only happens with this page (for now). So we clicked on Edit Post to change that but the post content is completely blank. But somehow the content on site is still displayed despite nothing in wp admin?

We checked the Revisions, turned out the latest update was not saved into Revisions. Then we checked the database, all the content is there. Could someone help explain why the post content is in the db but not in wp admin?

This doesn’t happen to every page/post. But it has happened a few times before. We ‘ve tried disabling plugins but that didn’t fix it.

We could easily redo the post again but would really appreciate some explanations and help to prevent this happen in the future.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @anxiousduck

Is the post content not appearing for all posts in wp admin?

    Are you using any pagebuilders?

Have you tried temporarily switching themes on a development site to see if that helps?

Have you tried the classic editor plugin? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/classic-editor/

    Good luck

    Hi there,

To answer your questions, the post content only disappear for that particular post (every other page/post was fine).

We used ACF to build some pages/posts.

    We did use classic editor.

We made a few changes to the PHP settings on the server to extend the memory etc. The post didn’t save properly because the settings were a bit low. Hopefully, that will fix the issue.

    Thank you for your reply!
