  • Hi @jason975,

I visited your site above and saw a Search Form below the Login Form on the sidebar. Is that form you would like to remove?

I would like you to know that that Search Form is not coming from the Astra theme. It’s from the bbPress plugin you are using on your site.

Actually, you don’t need any custom CSS just to remove that plugin. Go to Appearance > Widgets and remove the (bbPress) Forum Search Form widget from the Main Sidebar.

    I hope it will help.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi Herman.

I’d like to keep the bbPress one. I got a solution at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/removing-the-search-form/. Though, I’m curious if there are other ways to do it.

Thanks for getting back to me.

    Hi @jason975,

Actually, why I was referring to the bbPress Search Form because that’s the only Search Form I saw on your site.

Please share with us a screenshot pointing to the Search Form you were referring to, so we can provide you with an accurate response.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi Herman,

Thanks again for getting back to me.

Sorry, I might have been unclear.

There were two search forms before, I removed one, and now there is only one. The only one that is there now is the one that I want to keep, so there aren’t any more to remove. I want one and I have one. In other words, I no longer have the problem.

    Hi @jason975,

    Thanks for the clarification.

Anyway, if I take a look at the CSS code on the thread you referred to, I believe that the Search Form is coming from bbPress.

Well, good to know that you no longer have the problem. Please mark the topic as Resolved and let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Have a nice day and stay safe!

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Thanks again!

I was curious if there are other ways to do it, but other ways aren’t necessary.

    Hi @jason975,

Unfortunately, I can’t answer you as the Search Form is no longer exist on your site. Anyway, it’s fine to have the CSS code you added on your site to hide the Search Form, it won’t hurt your site.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
