I tried to use this plugin in my WordPress installation on the Themosis framework (wordpress is installed in subdirectory and wp plugins are managed via composer).

The plugin works, settings work, post content is modified properly so images have all necessary attributes etc, and all of the SLB js scripts also load correctly. But despite all of that, lightbox does not work, clicking an image goes to the image url, as if there was no SLB. There are no errors.

My wp installation meets all requirements listed in the plugin documentation.
This problem seems to be specific to the Themosis framework, because I checked the plugin on the fresh installation of this framework and the problem is still the same. But I don’t think there’s any problem with the framework itself, because I have used many other plugins and all of them worked properly.

I would appreciate any help with figuring out where is the problem.

Hi, please provide a link to a page that exhibits the issue you are experiencing and I would be glad to take a look.

Sorry for not examining the issue enough earlier – I discovered that Themosis framework has nothing to do with my problem. Now, after further investigation I found out the what exactly causes the issue.

So what I discovered is that this plugin never works (seems to be working, but lightbox does not show up, as I described) when WordPress is served through PHP built-in web server (using “php -S” command).

I consider my problem solved, but this is something that in my opinion might be worth mentioning in documentation.
