Can’t link it, it’s behind the membership site.

I’ve got post forms set up for specific user roles. None of the settings are incorrect.

The user can access the page and fill out all of the form fields, including uploading a featured image and uploading images within the post.

But come time for SUBMIT, the button does not do anything. I enabled Save Draft mode so basically the user has to save the post as a draft, navigate back to the account page, find the post in “offline” mode, select the edit link, scroll back down to the bottom of the form page and select UPDATE.

Then it posts, page refreshes to the new post as set.

I do not have recaptcha set for wpuf because I use it on the main areas of the site. Once they’ve joined, they don’t need the recaptcha option, it’s annoying. So it’s not that. The one I use elsewhere is recaptcha2 but it’s not relevant to posting forms. It’s relevant to logging in and joining.

While the workaround is useful, it’s sloppy and unprofessional. Please consider fixing whatever is causing it in your next update.

    Thanks

    Thanks for reaching to us.

Your facing issue: The submit button is not saving the form data.
Would you mind checking your page’s console error during hitting the submit button. Does it throwing any console error message related to No reCAPTCHA clients exists?
If yes, kindly contact us from here. We will surely take further action accordingly to resolve the issue.

    Hi

I’ve narrowed down the issue to the upload image option. When it’s enabled and an image is uploaded, the form submit button doesn’t even “click” – it doesn’t do anything. When no image is uploaded (but still enabled) the button works, the form submits, refreshes and goes to the new post.

There is some kind of issue between submitting the post and images that are uploaded.

    ETA
I went ahead and deleted and disabled all recaptcha keys, cleared cache and tried the same post form with and without uploading images…and without recaptcha the post form does work.

I think it’s actually an issue with recaptcha being enabled. I am using v3 recaptcha for cf7 and ultimate member. When both are enabled and active, the post forms do not “submit” on click. When both are disabled, the form works as it’s supposed to, both with image upload and just a test text post.

Any suggestions or solutions will be much appreciated. I need to use recaptcha on the front end so the conflict between it and wpuf needs a solution. I hope you can help resolve this asap.

    Thanks!

    Hello @audreyprice
It seems I haven’t noticed your last reply here. Truly sorry about that.

If you are using the reCAPTCHA V3 for CF7 and Ultimate Member and the same reCAPTCHA should also work with the WPUF. I’m not sure what exactly happens in your case.

Hence, I would request you please reach out to our native support from our contact page about this thread to deep debugging on your environment to resolve the issue.

Note: I’m making this topic resolve here and again request you to please reach us from here for further support.

    Kind regards.
