• Hi, I installed WP Super Cache last night to replace another caching plugin that was causing some issues.

Following a Woocommerce document, I set up the plugin to exclude the cart, checkout, and my account strings from caching in the advanced settings.

However, today while checking if everything works well, viewing one category (in this case it was “Clothing”) I could see my at the top right hand corner of my screen, the cart contained one item. Quick viewing the cart would show the item, and viewing cart proper would show my cart was empty (because I did not actually add the item to cart).

Removing the item from cart would empty it, but navigating back to that category page would show that I still have that item in my cart.

Can anyone one assist on this? I would have assumed by excluding cart, checkout, and my account from caching it would avoid this issue, but this seems to stem from caching of that category page itself?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • In the development version of the plugin I’ve added a “Rejected Cookies” section to the advanced settings page. If you go to the following page it will tell you everything you need to know about installing that version.

You could enter a cookie name generated by WooCommerce there. That should disable caching. I would be very interested in hearing if that worked for you.
