Problems with IE/Edge

  • Hi!

    Thank you for a really good plugin. We′ve used this since the start and upgraded to the premium version.

    We are getting support messeges from Internet Explorer/Edge users that say that items wont add to cart and also IE-users that says that the checkout button in the side cart wont take them to the checkout.

    Is this something you are aware of?

    Yes, plugin JS is based on class pattern.
    IE doesn’t support classes.
    It is officially discontinued and no longer supported.
    However plugin works fine in Edge, if you’re using pro version, kindly leave a message here

    Do you mean that Sidecart wont support IE in the future or do you mean that IE no longer support JS class pattern and that you will make an update to make it compatible?

    Hello,

    IE never supported classes, its a new (not so new) JavaScript pattern.
    There are no plans to make it compatible with IE.
