• I’m running WP 1.5 with the default template (Kubrick) and want to move the sidebar (the vertical menu bar with the links to archives and search box) to the left side so I can add Google Ads on the right.

I’ve tried changing dozens of things in style.css, index.php and sidebar.php and can’t seem to get it to do what I want. (I’ve also searched here and can’t seem to find this topic).

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

  • For one, you’re gonna have to duplicate the kubrickbg.jpg image located in your /wp-content/themes/default/images/kubrickbg.jpg and move the sidebar color to the left as opposed to its current location on the right.

Also, if you look at the style.css file. There is a section called “Begin Structure”. I think all your gonna need to do is edit the “widecolumn” and “narrowcolumn” tags to flip flop the columns…but i am still looking into an exact method of doing this.
