Offer users my own avatar list / bank.

    Hello,

    I don’t have much experience with wordpress or programming but love and learn about both.

    I’m trying to find a way to offer my users the possibility of choosing an avatar from a list that I would have made myself, I don’t want them to have the possibility of uploading theirs.

    Since I don’t have advanced coding skills, I looked for a plugin to do this, but couldn’t find anything.
    Then I thought to myself that there might be a way to get my users to be redirected to my media library instead of having access to their local media …

    Would there be an efficient way to accomplish what I’m trying to do (by that I mean allow users to choose from my avatar bank)?

    I would really appreciate some help on this.

    I just googled “wordpress user avatars” and found several excellent posts comparing several different plugins that do this.

    Several different plugins that allow users to pick up an avatar from a list that I have created ??
    I may not have explained very well what I’m looking for, but of course I went through the google box before posting here.
    I would have liked to find something that allows shortcodes to be able to place the avatar selector at my convenience.
    Most plugins allow you to choose a file from your pc to be defined as an avatar, and I don’t want to allow that to users.

    Hi @marcopopo,

    I am sure that there will be no plugins for this situation. You can manually hide the upload image button from desktop with CSS, then WordPress will default to the user’s profile picture.
