    Hello,

Will you tell me if Translate Press is GDPR compliant?

Does it use cookies or track or store or use site visitor data?

Also, is this plugin compatible with Avada? I see a lot of support tickets with issues with TranslatePress and Avada

If I were to try it out and install it on my Avada site and I decided it doesn’t work, can you tell me how to fully and completely uninstall it including all data etc

    Thank you

Also, will you also tell me, can you use both the google api as well as fixing it with some manual translation as needed?
    Thank you!

    Hello there,

?We do not collect any information from your users.
There is an add-on that is setting up a cookie, but we are not allowed to speak about the paid versions here.
Also, if you use automatic translation, your strings are being sent from PHP to Google’s or Deepl’s servers. But no user identifiable information is being sent as far as we’re aware.

Our plugins should present no conflict with any theme / plugin from the ecosystem.
In the rare occasions when conflicts do arise, they are treated as bugs and fixed as soon as possible.

Besides deactivating and uninstalling the plugin, you will also have to manually access your database and delete the wp_trp_* tables.

Yes, you can use the Google API and then fix the translation manually. The manual translation have a higher priority. You can even manually translate some parts of your site and then use automatic translation without worrying about losing the manual translations.

If you were to access a wp_trp_dictionary_* table, you will notice that there is a Status column. That indicates the translation’s status: 0 – not translated; 1 – automatic translated; 2 – manually translated.

    Best regards,
    Cristian
