We just had a massive website blockade caused by this plugin. By the looks in monitoring seems to be happening every once in a while (see the screenshot https://i.imgur.com/kbu7n66.png)

Wondering if this is a known issue and if anything is being done to resolve it. Also, not sure why it would be blocking the cart from functioning properly as well as the whole site from loading in the most extreme peaks.

Hi @urosavalonking, thanks for your report.

This is not a known issue, so it would be helpful to get some additional details from you please.

Are there any errors triggered at the time of the spikes? Please check under WooCommerce > Status > Logs – in the dropdown list at the top-right of the page, check for Fatal Errors log, as well as the Facebook log itself.

Do you have a large number of products on your store? Have you been making large updates to those products recently?

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

If you’d prefer to send these privately, please open a ticket – you can contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

    Hey @stephjacq

So, logs, not really anything out of the ordinary there, just single instance issues that I can see in monitoring as well. These are quite rare in the overall and don’t seem to be related to this.

We only have 7 products at the time.

System status submitted via a ticket (please do note I have the plugin disabled at the moment)

Now, I did send a screenshot from newrelic but I can dig for more details in there. Just for now, the only thing I see which is matching the time where the site was unusable and during peak unavailable is the high response times from connect.facebook.net

Here are also the plugin specific stats for the time of the incident https://i.imgur.com/BuPoM43.png and for example how it looks for index at that time https://i.imgur.com/v4MYHd2.png

Do keep in mind, there were no changes that triggered this and after the incident my checks show that we had at least one more extreme case before lasting roughly the same amount of time but quite possibly this issue affecting our site slightly more often than that as we did have unexplained CR drops ever since we switched to using this plugin.

Thank you for these details, @urosavalonking. As we discussed on chat, we will followup on this conversation by email. I am marking this forum post as resolved for now.
