Problem access page with password ( admin section lock in privare network)

I made the admin part for safety accessible from a non-public vete accessible from a von, now all password-protected pages are not viewable, they are displayed only with the vpn where with sd permissions access the admin part. how can i solve this problem but keep the admin password free from the public domain, but view a page with password
