    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

We’ve checked with our developers and in-house SEO experts, and they’ve confirmed that this is not an actual error being reported by Google’s Rich Results and Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool.

We’re aware of the reported errors you’re currently seeing in the Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs site audit due to the Yoast SEO schema markup for the breadcrumbs.

Our development team is currently working on enhancing the breadcrumbs schema output to bring the relevant missing properties back. This fix will likely be available in the next update i.e. v16.6 update. Please also do refer to this article regarding the breadcrumb changes we made in v16.2 – https://yoast.com/help/breadcrumb-changes-yoast-seo-16-2/

Ok, so basically there is nothing that I can do at the moment to rectify the situation apart from waiting for the new version to come?

I mean, there is no issue from my side, right?

At the moment, we suggest waiting for the next release. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

@infinitians Can you please confirm whether the 16.6 update resolved the issue for you?

    Thread Starter infinitians

    (@infinitians)

    unfortunately, it didn’t.

Still showing errors for these links:

    https://infinitians.com/web-stories/basic-meditation/

I checked the version, it’s currently 16.6.1 right?

    Plugin Support devnihil

    (@devnihil)

@infinitians Yes, that is correct the current version is 16.6.1. However, the fix for the bug related to the last breadcrumb item being stripped from the Schema output on certain pages was included in the the 16.6 release.

If you clear your cache (server, plugin/theme, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider.

    (@infinitians)

I cleared my cache and ran the test again.

It’s still showing errors for these two links:

We are sorry to hear that you’re still having trouble with our plugin. Due to the nature of the issue, we’ll need to take a look at your setup. However, we are unable to do it here as this is a public forum.

So, if you have an active Yoast SEO Premium subscription or if you can consider buying one, we can investigate the issue further directly on your setup privately through email.

However, if you don’t wish to get the Yoast SEO Premium subscription, that’s completely fine. In this case, you’ll need to troubleshoot the issue further on your setup as we are literally out of any clue at this moment without taking a look at the setup. So, someone from the community might step forward as well who has experienced or familiar with the issue.

    Thanks for your understanding!

    Thread Starter infinitians

    (@infinitians)

I really can’t afford the subscription at the moment.

Perhaps you could tell me what exactly do you need to look at and I will be more than happy to share whatever it is that’s required.

    Hi,

Since you’ve confirmed that your website is already on the latest version of Yoast SEO for WordPress v16.6.1, we would recommend that you try and reset the indexables and see if this resolves the issue:

    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations’ button. The page will reload to confirm that each reset was successful. Note: this won’t actually erase your SEO data, which is also stored in WordPress’ default tables. It’ll just reset our index (custom tables) for that data.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your?content.

For your site’s health and safety, we recommend creating regular backups of your site and database. This is especially important before installing, updating or removing plugins. Learn more about the benefits of regular backups.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, then we’d recommend performing a conflict check to see if there isn’t a plugin or theme on your setup that is causing this.

The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you do not feel comfortable to do this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

Thank you so much for your help.

The validation process has started on the GSC.

I will let you know if it’s resolved, but it looks like it will.

    Hi @infinitians,

Thanks for the update. Please note that it may take some time for errors to disappear from Google Search Console after you fixed them.

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
