Cant get video to autoplay

    I am trying to get a video to autoplay on my webpage but it wont. At least not in any browser I have open.

    I have gone to the settings of the video and set it on autoplay.

    Howdy Mason,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    That’s weird, the only browser that should have any issue with autoplay would be firefox. It is the default behavior for Firefox in Mobile — rest assured that nothing is broken with our player.

    Works fine on my end, I’m using Chrome on MacOs.

    Can you send us a video recording of the issue you are having?

    If it is working on your end, then that is good at least.

    I was first working in firefox (Desktop). I tried to open the link in Google Chrome. This is the screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uAOKr9

    I tried it on my phone (Duckduckgo browser), and it didn’t autoplay there either.

    Hmmm…. did you try an incognito window? Perhaps there’s an extension that’s disabling video autoplay (like an ad blocker perhaps). We use the standard html5 autoplay attribute, so it’s up to the browser to perform the autoplay request.
