I’ve also noticed that it seems to be printing a large S once the date has been picked. I presume this is a language error, but how do I go about fixing it?

This is how the date picker is appearing for me (tested with Safari, Firefox, and Chrome): https://d.pr/i/zCUx7f (no transparent and badly shaped issue)
