Two issues here: If I try to run a performance test, all I get are the results from a previous test. It doesn’t matter if I clear the cache, I get the same result. I would like to be able to see what effect changes have on performance, but I can’t get a new test.

Next, I am unclear on what the automatic setting on asset optimization does. If I switch back to manual, there are a lot of files that say they are not loaded in the footer. Isn’t that something the auto setting should handle?
I also can’t manually move anything to the footer. I get the time out message from chrome.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting I am missing?

    Thanks

    Hi @nubiesan

I hope you are doing well.

Do you have any object caching on the server-side?

If so, can you try to flush the server caches too?

On an important note, the score can take some time to reflect, you can find more on:

The Automatic mode is going to Compress and Combine the files, however, on your website, the Assets are loading from the server CDN which could be the reason the same score or it makes no difference when moving the file to the footer:

Can you try to disable the server CDN and see if it makes any difference?

About the time out, can you check the max execution time and WordPress memory limits too?

Let us know the result you got.
