How the hell do I get rid of this piece of crap? Help files are outdated. Deactivated plugin, still have a redirect happening on my page. Couldn’t unlink the site in the plugin dashboard or its own site so I deleted the account. Deleted the plugin. Cleared cache. Cleared WP cache. STILL have the plugin popping up and directing to https://support.shareaholic.com/hc/en-us/articles/200471416 Like, it should not be this difficult.

@joarc this plugin is deactivated like any other plugin – nothing special – the steps that you have followed sound normal and right. Clearly, something else is going on that is unique to your WordPress. Can you please share a link to the website so we may see what may be going on to help? — please send to support at shareaholic dot com or https://www.shareaholic.com/help/message in case you don’t want to share the domain publicly.

One thing we can think of is that some hosts have their own caching systems that you may also need to clear (ex. WP Engine) as does if you have a 3rd party whole site caching system (ex. if you use Cloudflare) that you may need to clear — in case yours does, we’re assuming you’ve also cleared that?

Hi @joarc following up! Were you able to resolve the issue?

Hi, thanx for the reply. I wiped the entire site and started over. I couldn’t get rid of it otherwise.

I use Bluehost and did clear that cache too. Thanx.
