reCAPTCHA is always showing error

Hey,
I’ve installed this plugin and tried reCAPTCHA feature on registration page.

This is step by step my experience:
* Opened the plugin’s settings page with recaptcha settings.
* I don’t see what version and kind of recaptcha to use?!
* Clicked the recaptcha google link from settings page.
* Created and filled in reCAPTCHA v3 site key.
* Tried registration and got empty error box above the registation form.
* Went back to plugin settings and filled in all customs error message texts.
* Tried registration again – now I see my custom recaptcha error.
* Went back to google and initialized reCAPTCHA v2 witch checkbox.
* Tried registration again – not seeing checkbox – still getting recaptcha error.
* Went back to google and initialized invisible reCAPTCHA v2.
* Tried registration again – still getting recaptcha error.
* Deactivated the plugin for now in order not to block users from registering.

The bold parts are not for yelling, just to highlight the points.

I’d appreciate any hints in order to get this to work.
