Mailpoet task scheduler stopped sending from one day to the next. Error message reads that it does not send because it states that there is no connection because it times out – see below message

cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 5001 milliseconds
I consulted the troubleshooting tips that stated to call the Host with this message:
1. cURL timeout This is fairly common and easy to fix. Solution: get in touch with your hosting provider's technical support and send them this: Hi support! cURL requests on my website frequently time out. This is causing issues with certain WordPress plugins, like MailPoet, which run background processes. Is it possible to increase the cURL timeout limit?
I called GoDaddy and they stated that they cannot increase the cURL timeout limit?
There are no other solutions provided by WordPress. What should I do?
