    Hi @ohrn,

Can you please go to the MailPoet > Help > System Status tab and check what’s the info displayed for the cron job?

Pay special attention to the last seen error – if there’s any.

Also, please confirm the sending method you’re using is working as expected. Can you send a preview of the newsletter to yourself? Do you see any error messages when you go to the Emails page?

Please note there are a few things to keep in mind while setting a Post Notification email. If you want to know more about the specific conditions to trigger Post Notification emails, you can read the [FAQ] Post Notifications.

Thanks for sharing more information with us, @ohrn.

Can you please let me know when your Post Notification is supposed to be sent and when was the last time you have published a post that matches the conditions to trigger your Post Notification email?

    Thread Starter ohrn

    (@ohrn)

Yeah sure, it was for yesterday (tuesday at 12)
Posts are done daily more or less!

Where can we see triggers if there are others?

Where can we see triggers if there are others?

The only thing that triggers a Post Notification is a newly published post. If you publish a new post matching the settings you have for your Post Notification, an email should be sent.

Can you please double-check the criteria you selected for the email to be sent? I.e.: If you have selected only posts from a particular category to be sent in the Automatic Latest Content widget’s settings, do you have a newly published post added to the correct category that should trigger the Post Notification email?

    Hi there @ohrn,

You can check that when you edit your Post Notification email > select Automatic Latest Content Block > you will see the Post Selection bar: https://d.pr/i/6UkXgM

Please also go through the following document with an extensive list of things to check if PN emails are not sent: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/362-troubleshooting-post-notifications-emails

    Cheers!

as for the list in the link you sent the nr 5, I’m unsure what you mean with?

There is a total of 704 subscribers.. but on the list tab under mail poet they say unconfirmed, could this have something to do with it?

    https://prntscr.com/1ashj5j

Is there a way to move subscribers to different lists?

    Hi there @ohrn,

Thanks for getting back to us!

Can you please send us a screenshot of the MailPoet > Help > System Status page? Please ensure to capture the whole page or make several screenshots.

as for the list in the link you sent the nr 5, I’m unsure what you mean with?

This step asks you to check if the list which is assigned to the PN email actually has subscribers that you expect the email to be sent to.

I don’t think your Inactive subscribers is an issue here. And yes, you can assign subscribers to different lists when you edit them.

    Cheers!

Maybe it is this on top then saying:

For the plugin to work, it must be able to establish a connection with the task scheduler and the key activation/MailPoet sending service.

but just under it says it connects successfully!

    Hi there @ohrn,

Thanks for the screenshots! I see only one scheduled Post Notification email in your System Status and it should be sent on July 20th. Can you please share a screenshot of your MailPoet > Emails > Post Notifications tab?

How often is your PN email is scheduled to be sent?

    Thread Starter ohrn

    (@ohrn)

    hi again,

    here is that

    https://prntscr.com/1b26n48

    So weekly basis, on Tuesdays.

The 20th July part I don’t know where I see or change?

    Hi there @ohrn,

So from the screenshots you shared, I see that there is one PN email that is scheduled to be sent on July 20th, and it was probably the one that was supposed to be sent on July 13th (if you haven’t published any new posts since July 11th).

It could be an issue with your cron settings that rescheduled this email.

I’d recommend changing your cron settings in MailPoet > Settings > Advanced tab > Task Scheduler from “Visitors on your site” to “MailPoet script”, then delete the current Post Notification email.

Then you can republish your post from scratch (delete + create the same post), send a one-time PN email, and then create a new one that is sent on Tuesday if new posts are published.

This is a tedious workaround but I hope it will resolve the issue with your cron.

I hope this clarifies a bit, but please let us know if you have any questions!

Im still trying to figure out how i change this of the “July 20th” to something else?
I don’t see this at all or I miss understand things..

    I’ve changed the croon setting!

When we re-crate a new one, visit possible to use the template we saved?
send a one-time PN email, how do I do this?

thanks for the help and I just hope we solve it!
