• When I try to delete/move to trash multiple posts in WordPress, I get the following error:

    If I try to move a single post to the trash, I get “error moving to trash” or something similar. Regardless of the error, the post still gets deleted.

    Any suggestions? I don’t necessarily need the “trash” a clean, plain-old delete is OK too, so turning the trash “off,” could be a solution, if that is possible.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
