Display and make field required conditionally

  • Hi. Is there any way to show the field and make it (or not) required, if another field is checked? I know that it’s possible by using the templates, but when fields are changing quite often, then changing the code in the template is very inconvenient. So the question is, is there any option planned to make it from the manage database fields window, or is it somehow possible now?

    The only way to do this, as you have guessed, is to create a custom template that does this using javascript. It is possible to craft the code so that it won’t be broken by changes to the field structure of the template.

    We don’t have plans to add this to the plugin because each case is so different, it’s not possible to add it as a general feature.
