Redirect Domain – Subdomain

I have multi-site on my wordpress install with subdomains.
I would like kidscampamerica.com/thuringen to redirect to the subdomain thuringen.kidscampamerica.com.
I have set up the redirect but the URL results in https://kidscampamerica.com/thuringen.kidscampamerica.com and a 404.
