Last Modified date or year in Google Search

  • Hi,

    can I do something to let show last modified date in Google search anstead of first written date of post?
    Or is it possible to hide any date in google search? In my blog there is only shown last modified date.

    Can you also tell me: Is there any difference if I let show last modified date on my website or not for search result in Google search?
