Long lag until credit card form is showing

    Hi,

    There is a very long lag between clicking the “Debit or Credit Card” button on the checkout page until the actual form is showing up. This Ajax request is taking very long: ?wc-ajax=ppc-create-order

    We are using SiteGround, on a new site, with almost no other plugins installed.

    Hopefully, you can optimize things. Anyway, I think a good idea will be to add some kind of a loader spinner to indicates that something is processing.

    Just tested it with all other plugins disabled, and with stock Storefront theme – still takes a long time to load.

    For our site, the CC form loads immediately, but after clicking PLACE ORDER, it takes 30+ seconds, often 40, to receive the order confirmation.

    Note that every customer order and test order completes successfully, just very slow.

    we are already aware of it and informed PayPal about it. The credit card form is loaded in an iframe and all files come from PayPal directly.

    PayPal is going to fix that asap.
