• It’s the best plugin of its kind, and provides an insight into what’s happening on the website unlike any other. I like the comprehensiveness of the logging and have used it in high traffic environment without any issues. Other plugins of this kind have a lot of problems in this regard.

But it does have some limitations and minor issues: no PHP 8 support yet, it leaves behind empty cron jobs after you disable the plugin, and it doesn’t log cached page views. I don’t know any WP site that isn’t using caching, and if I just want to see failed logins, there are simpler plugins for the task.

Overall I recommend it, just hope it improves in future versions.

Thank you very much for the positive review and for the candid feedback. To answer your feedback:

    1. The next version of the plugin, which will be released in a few weeks will support PHP 8.

    2. Cached page views: this is something we are discussing internally since it has come up a few times lately. The idea is to have some sort of script that should be included in the page / post template and when triggered it triggers an event. However, in reality it is not that easy to implement, so we want to make sure we implement this properly and securely.

    3. If the plugin left some cron jobs after uninstall, please report that issue to our support so we can look into it. You can reach our support at support at wpwhitesecurity dot com.

Thank you again for taking the time to post such a review. Have a great weekend.
