Cannot access admin panel and some users cannot see the site

  • Hi,

    My host switched me to a new server today (dedicated) and shortly after doing so, I was unable to access my dashboard.

    Oddly enough, some people can access the dashboard (Page goes blank after you submit log in info) and other’s cannot just as some visitors can see the site and others cannot.

    My current host tells me this is a cache issue and that wordpress is at fault here. He cannot waste anymore time on helping me and told me to come here on the wordpress forums to get help.

  • Could be DNS catching up with the server move. I’d wait for 24 hours and see if you still have the issue. I’d also look for a new hosting provider who doesn’t consider looking after customers “a waste of time”…

    It probably won’t fix the problem, but keeping your WordPress installation up to date never hurts. We’re way past v2.6.5 ??
