    Hello,

I was planning to move my web to CloudFlare and I would so much appreciate your advice here as I somewhere read about LiteSpeed. I am no expert and I got confused:

Is any of both a better RUA compagnion??
If both are RUA compatible, which is easier to configure?

What I am looking to is to protect restricted content. So I need help in order to manage caching settings so that restricted content do not end up visible to all public

Perhaps it is usefull to mention that my website grants different roles with different access permissions. One role may have access to a given restricted content while have access denied for other restricted content.

Please help me safely protect my pages and configure caching for these members categories (logged in – logged out – public)

    Thank you very much

    Liliana

RUA is compatible with both Cloudflare and Litespeed, and any other caching plugin.

Cloudflare and Litespeed can serve different purposes, so it’s hard to say which one is the better solution. Litespeed may be easier for beginners since all configuration is done from within your site, but it has a lot of options. Cloudflare is much more than just caching.

I would recommend starting with one of them and see how that improves your site performance, and as a start not to enable caching for logged-in users. A misconfiguration could cause restricted content to become accessible to the wrong users, yes.

I also highly recommend installing Query Monitor to see if you have any plugins installed that add a lot of unnecessary scripts or makes a lot of database queries:
