having thumbnails display on page

I want to build a catalogue site using WP. Is there a way(plugin) to have thumbnail images on the homepage that open to a page with a slideshow of the product? I’m looking to do something like this – if you click on a thumbnail it opens to a page with a slideshow of the product(I don’t want to use flash)
